Cluster types

Cloudfleet Kubernetes Engine (CFKE) offers three types of clusters: Free, Standard, and Enterprise. Each cluster type provides different features and levels of support to meet your needs.

The following table compares the features of each cluster type:

Basic clusters

Basic clusters are ideal for small projects and testing. They allow you to use Cloudfleet Kubernetes Engine (CFKE) without any cost. However, basic clusters have support up to 24 vCPUs and comes with no SLA guarantees. Basic clusters share control plane resources with other customers which may result in unpredictable performance. Also, basic clusters are hibernated after 7 days of inactivity. Inactivity is defined as no nodes running in the cluster.

Pro and Enterprise clusters

Pro and Enterprise clusters are suitable for production workloads. They come with a 99.95% monthly control plane availability SLA, multi availability-zone replication and dedicated hardware resources for control plane components.

Enterprise clusters, on top of all Pro features, also come with a 1-hour support response SLA, extended support for older Kubernetes versions, control plane private networking, and global disaster recovery and fail-over.
