šŸŽ‰ Cloudfleet price reductions of up to 65%: Kubernetes control plane at the lowest cost

Cloudfleet announces a 65% price reduction for its Kubernetes control plane in 2025, introducing new pricing plans: the free Basic Plan for small workloads and the Pro Plan for high-availability production environments. Discover the most affordable Kubernetes solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud setups.

Cloudfleet’s mission is to make Kubernetes and cloud-native computing available to everyone. As part of this mission, we are constantly optimizing the Cloudfleet Kubernetes Engine (CFKE) and its underlying infrastructure to reduce costs and pass the savings on to our customers.

As we kick off 2025, we are excited to announce a 65% price reduction for the Kubernetes control plane. As part of this change, we have renamed our pricing plans to better reflect the new structure. The new plans are:

Ā

Basic Plan

The Basic plan provides an always free Kubernetes control plane to power one cluster with up to 24 vCPUs and zero per-vCPU management fees. While cluster state data is stored in the same highly durable storage as our Enterprise plans, the control plane runs in a single availability zone. Compared to the retired Free plan, it offers a higher vCPU limit (24 vs. 20). With the new limits, our customers can run clusters with up to 3 nodes with 8 vCPUs each completely free of charge.

The Basic plan is the most affordable Kubernetes solution on the market for running containerized workloads in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. It is ideal for small workloads and development environments.

Ā

Pro Plan

The Pro plan offers a highly available Kubernetes control plane capable of powering an unlimited number of vCPUs in a cluster. The control plane management fee has been reduced from $199 to $69 per cluster per month and now includes the first 24 vCPUs for free.

The Pro plan is designed for production workloads that require high availability and guarantees 99.95% uptime. It delivers the highest ROI in the market for managed Kubernetes solutions, supporting distributed cloud and hybrid workloads of any size.

Ā

With this price reduction, running Kubernetes workloads on Cloudfleet is now even more affordable. Whether you’re a small startup or a large enterprise, you can take advantage of the power and flexibility of Kubernetes at the lowest cost.

This reduction is effective immediately and applies to all Cloudfleet customers. Existing customers will be automatically moved to the new pricing plans, with the changes reflected in their next billing cycle.
